We may have only recently updated Cartridge Discounts website but we have updated again! When customers are ordering from us, either ink cartridges, toner cartridges etc, they usually think that their information will auto fill when the register after inputting the postcode but we never used this method, now we are testing it out. So much quicker and efficient for the addresses, it even finds businesses and their correct company name, WOW!
We have found so far it has been successful and is working much easier for ourselves and customers. If the address does not appear correctly you can manually input it to be correct.

What should you do when a cartridge leaks? Put it in the printer still? Clean it up? Throw it away? WHAT TO DO!
Cartridges can leak, whether they’re original manufactured or a remanufactured/compatible cartridge. Sometimes they can be filled too much and the pressure makes them leak a little bit, or sometimes they can get damaged during shipping, this can occur for several reasons; thrown around without being handled correctly, large packages/boxes placed on top, stood on, dropped etc.
We do advise that you do NOT insert a leaking cartridge into your printer as it can cause problems, your printer will become contaminated with ink inside and it will become sticky and then dust and hairs will start to gather causing a blockage and error messages may start to appear if it gets onto the circuitry. It is more hassle placing the cartridge in the printer as opposed to contacting and sorting the problem out with the supplier.

We find with technology becoming more popular and the variety of technology increasing a high number of orders are placed online as oppose to talking to a human, but there again some people still enjoy the human voice when placing an order.
With the older generations finding it difficult to come to terms with changing technology they still pick the phone up and dial the old fashion way to place an order, we try and encourage online ordering and explain that it is a quicker process as you are learning them how to go through online processes and helping them progress with technology in their life; it is a much cheaper process as we have a premium line which does cost where as using the internet will be cheaper through the package you have on you internet and with broadband the speed is more efficient.
When using the online process this is the exact same process as over the phone including the payment system which is 100% secure and we find this is why people do not want to put the details in online, but is the phone line 100% secure? In my opinion online is much safer as the banks have an extra security called ‘3D secure banking’ and they only allow certain attempts on this before they class it as suspicious.
